The last few years have been a weird time to be a human. The majority of us suddenly found ourselves in lockdown and with societal norms flipped upsidedown, The World Without Us was born. Chock-full of highs and lows, the apocalypse presented opportunities to those willing to sift through the fog of complacency. Equal parts introspective analysis, existential crisis, and obsession, Drew Tuzson spent nearly two years conceptualizing, writing, and recording the material that would become the upcoming LP from The World Without us – Silver Tongues.

The original motivation behind the album was to tell the story around the realization of what it means to be human; the writing process was Tuzson’s self-prescribed form of therapy warranted by lockdown after lockdown. Roughly two years later, Tuzson was joined by Cole Yeager, Dustin Johns, and Brett Larsen – an assembly of like-minded individuals that fit better than the Voltron suit. Now a four-piece, The World Without Us has become one of Eastern Nebraska’s fastest-growing live acts.

A strategic alliance between Ghost Killer Entertainment and The World Without Us is where rubber would meet the road.
